About Dr. Prenzlau:
Dr. Eli Prenzlau graduated from the University of Colorado in Denver in 1976. He was fortunate to have studied under many of the greatest Dentists in the profession, and learned their techniques directly from them. He believes it is essential for practitioners to keep up with changing developments and materials, and to this end, he is frequently upgrading his methods and knowledge by attending many continuing education courses, as well as Dental study clubs and video and print updates. In this way, he keeps his office “current” with the latest in dental technology and techniques.
Among these teachers, is his dear friend and mentor, Dr. Gordon Christensen, who is considered one of the greatest Dental Educators in the world today. Dr. Prenzlau has also taken many courses at the Panky Institute in Florida, the Spear Institute in Arizona and at Dr. Gordon Christensen’s Practical Clinical Courses Institute in Salt Lake City.
Dr. Prenzlau made Aliyah to Israel together with his family in 1983 from Denver, Colorado and opened a group practice.
In 1994, Dr. Prenzlau moved to his own clinic and Oral Health Center, which is located at 26 Azza Road in Rechavia, right in the heart of Jerusalem.
Vision
Dr. Prenzlau’s vision is to assist his patients by having many dental specialists working alongside him within one comprehensive dental clinic. Aside from Dr. Prenzlau’s specialties of cosmetic Dentistry and full mouth oral rehabilitation, the Oral Health Center has an in-house oral and maxillofacial surgeon, an endodontist and root canal specialist, as well as a general dentist on staff to treat the younger population and do most of the conventional dentistry.
Cosmetic dentists differ somewhat from a general dentist in that they specialize in helping those that need a makeover of specific aesthetic level of their smile.
Philosophy
Dr. Prenzlau’s philosophy is to help his patients regain their confidence and balance their aesthetic needs with functional ability. In today’s world, cosmetic dentistry plays a very central role in a person’s self-image. Our dental practice works closely together with our dental technician to envision and pre-design the desired “look” and result, using a program called Digital Smile Design. This enables the patient, doctor and technician to see a “mock-up” vision of how the final outcome will appear, thus seeing “the end result” even before beginning the work.
Dr. Prenzlau always keeps the convenience and the comfort of his patients in mind, making it as easy as possible for them to have all of their dental procedures completed right here in the clinic, instead of having to run from one specialist to another.
In this way, our patients are happy with the result of their treatment, leaving our office with a bright healthy smile, and the ability to function properly in their daily life. They can then eat properly and can enjoy life more fully.

Continuity of Treatment
All dental work needs follow-up, continuity of treatment, and regular checkups. Our clinic has three dental hygienists on staff, who are available to provide this service to you. Patients visit for their bi-annual, cleanings and checkups. Regular appointments are scheduled to keep all dental work and surrounding tissues healthy so that they will remain in great shape.
About The Office
Dr. Prenzlau’s Oral Health Center was recently redesigned and fully refurbished with the newest innovations in dental technology, and we continue to update all equipment with the latest developments as they emerge. These include an in-house panoramic X-Ray, intra-oral cameras, and digitalization of all our rooms for digital X-rays. Zoom whitening treatment (laser bleaching) allows for in-house teeth whitening within an hour, for an instant bright smile. Our digital radiography equipment enables all of our specialists to instantly review all charts and records of each patient they work with.
